Kids As Peacemakers Mural project

Wayside children and friends entering grades 4 - 8

You are invited to a community-wide celebration making the culmination of the CHILDREN'S PEACE MURAL PROJECT and and introduction to the INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE on September 19, 2009 at 9:00am. Wayside's children will be participating by creating their mural on August 22 and 23 from 9 - noon each day.

Schedule:

9 AM: Opening Ceremony
9:30 - 10:30: Drumming for Peace and Capoeira Performance
10:30 - 11:00 AM: Mural Walk

The Peace Mural Celebration is FREE and open to the public.

Noon and 6:30 PM: Barnstormers Doubleheader (The murals will be on display at the stadium during both Barnstormers games.)
